Undergraduate review of results policy

Reviewing failed assessments

All failed assessments (including examinations), worth 30% or more of the total mark for a unit, will be automatically reviewed before the result is released to a student.

Students are encouraged to view their failed examination papers and discuss failed assessment items with their unit coordinators.

If the student remains unsatisfied with their result after the review with the unit coordinator, the normal University grievance procedure will apply.

Reviewing passed assessments

Students are permitted to review their passed assessment items (including examination paper) with their unit coordinators.

If the student remains unsatisfied with their result after the review with the unit coordinator, the normal University grievance procedure will apply.

Approved at Education Commitee meeting 2-2009.
