Course transfer degree procedure - Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical SciencesIt is possible for an undergraduate Monash student to transfer across into the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy or the Bachelor of Pharmacy/Commerce from other degree courses. Please note that Monash University Course Transfer applications are assessed on academic merit and are assessed equally. Domestic students applying to transfer to either the Bachelor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy/Commerce must also complete the UMAT (Undergraduate Medical and Health Science Admission Test). The UMAT score will form part of the selection criteria. For more information about the UMAT, please refer to www.acer.edu.au/umat. Note: international students are not required to complete the UMAT. Competition is strong and the faculty usually receives about 500 non-year 12 applications for approximately 15-20 places. As a guide, at least a 70% average across all subjects is required for consideration. The faculty prefers transfer applicants to have completed chemistry and mathematics subjects in their first year of university, and may also pay special attention to excellent marks in these subjects. ProcedurePlease note that the application period for 2008 entry has now closed. Applications for 2009 entry will open from 1 September 2008.
