Employment and Careers Development

Employment and Career Development offer career guidance to assist you with developing career management skills. Employment and Career Development also provide resources linking you to employment and work related learning opportunities. 

Some of the types of enquiries received by Employment and Career Development include:

• assistance in deciding what type of work students can undertake after completing a course;
• assistance with improving job searching abilities for casual and graduate work;
• seeking advice and feedback on applying for work for example resume feedback and interview skills coaching

The Employment and Career Development Career Gateway provides current students and recent graduates of Monash University with access to employment opportunities, events and career resources online.

Employment and Careers Development at Parkville

Employment and Careers Development will be available for group or one on one appointments, drop in sessions and group training at Parkville on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Careers Week

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Careers week is held annually in mid April. Sessions are delivered to assist students in finding work, writing applications and improving interview techniques.

The highlight of the week is the Careers expo, a one day event held in Cossar hall. This expo provides students with the opportunity to meet representatives from various organisations in the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences industry to discuss prospective job opportunities available the field.
