Alternative arrangements and support

Religious or cultural requirements

In cases where a student’s commitment to religious or cultural practices will have a detrimental impact on their capacity to study or perform assessment tasks, the student should contact the Academic and Student Services Manager. In these cases the student will usually be required to submit an application for Special Consideration with appropriate documentation. In the instance where it is not possible to sit the scheduled examination, they will be expected to sit the deferred examination in the formal deferred/special examination period. There are also instances where the student will be eligible for alternative arrangements due to religious or cultural requirements.
