Course requirements

The Bachelor of Pharmacy is a fixed course. Students should follow the course requirements as stated in the Undergraduate Handbook, based on year of commencement, as follows;

Students who commenced in 2005, 2006, or 2007 should refer to the entry in the 2008 Handbook to view the list of units required to complete the course. For an overview of units required see the pre-2008 course map (pdf 34kb).

Students who commenced in 2008 should refer to the entry in the 2008 Handbook to view the list of units required to complete the first year of the course, and the 2009 Handbook entry to view the list of units required to complete the remainder of the course. Students who commenced in 2009 or later should refer to the current entry in the Handbook to view the list of units required to complete the course. For an overview of units required see the current course map (pdf 36kb).

Third year elective units

In third year students get to select an elective unit. There are five units to choose from in 2010.

Three of the elective units are run in semester 2 and you can enrol in them now:

Two of the elective units are run in summer semester 2010/2011 and you need to apply for them. They are quota restricted and have a selection process outside the reenrolment process. See the following pages for eligibility and application information:
