Administrative transition
Administrative transition is probably the most overlooked area of transition to university. Universities have complex administrative processes that require students to take responsibility for their enrolment. All correspondence will be addressed to you - the student - and not your parents. You will need to negotiate the enrolment process, the timetable, subject websites, keep on top of assessment dates, and ensure you read your emails and other correspondence from the university.
