First year drop-in study centre

Run for one hour each week, the First year drop-in study centre is a one-stop-shop for first year pharmacy and pharmaceutical science students to go for study assistance of any kind.

The First year drop-in study centre will be staffed by a tutor, a Learning Skills Advisor, and two mentors (later year students).

It can be used as a location for study groups, or for individual students seeking assistance with:

  • Study skills
  • Time management
  • Specific questions relating to course material

The First year drop-in study centre aims to encourage you to start studying early in semester and seek help if required.

You are encouraged to attend with other students you meet in your mentor group.

When is it on?

  • Location: CL Butchers Library, in the front section to the right of the entrance
  • Time: Every Thursday from week 2 of semester, 12pm - 1pm
