Poster hanging guidelines
Hanging posters
-
Students are welcome to use all notice boards which are not marked for faculty or specific club use. Students and outside organisations should NOT place posters on walls, particularly in lecture theatres and tutorial rooms.
-
Staples are not to be used on notice boards - please use pins
-
Posters should have an expiry date on them. People hanging posters should make every effort to remove posters as soon as their expiration date has been reached.
-
Racist, sexist, homophobic or militaristic posters are not permitted.
Who can hang posters?
-
Individual students: are not liable for any fees or charges relating to notice boards so long as they follow the above regulations and are only placing personal notices (eg. wanted ads, for sale, tutoring notices).
-
Clubs affiliated with MPSA: are not required to have their posters authorised, but must clearly display the MPSA logo and poster expiration date.
-
Faculty staff: are not required to have their posters authorised, but must comply with the University's branding guidelines and where possible display a poster expiration date.
