Monash University Careers and Employment has a register of undergraduates and postgraduates able to translate and interpret in most languages at reasonable rates.  For casual work opportunities register online.

If you need an official translation of a document, the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd (NAATI) offers a search on their website for translators or interpreters.  They charge a fee for their service.
