Research interests

  • Mechanisms underlying electrical rhythmicity in the urogenital system
  • Role of pacemaker cells in the generation of spontaneous activity in the prostate gland
  • Age related changes in the generation/maintenance of spontaneous activity in the prostate gland
  • Identification of alternative targets for the treatment of conditions of the prostate gland, namely benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)

Education

Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science: physiology, pharmacology and coursework.
