Course transferUndergraduateThe faculty encourages applications from students who have commenced or completed other science-related tertiary courses. Applications for the Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy/Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science are open at the end of each year for commencement in Semester 1 the following year. The faculty does not offer a mid-year intake. Minimum results required to transfer for domestic applicants

Monash University Supplementary Information FormFor entry in 2013 and onwards, applicants wishing to transfer into the Bachelor of Pharmacy or the Bachelor of Pharmacy/Bachelor of Commerce will be required to complete a Monash University Supplementary Information Form (Pharmacy). For details on how to access the form email pharmacy.info@monash.edu. Transfer procedures for undergraduate studentsMonash students Monash University students apply via the internal transfer process by submitting an application form and Supplementary Information Form (Pharmacy) to the faculty by the due date. Internal transfer applications for 2013 entry will close 31 October 2012. If you are in the final year of your Monash degree and wish to apply for another Monash degree, you must submit your application via VTAC. Non-Monash students Applicants studying at other institutions must apply via VTAC and ensure that their tertiary transcripts are submitted. They must also complete the Supplementary Information Form (Pharmacy). Applications open in August each year. CreditCredit for prior studies is assessed after enrolment. Applications for credit are submitted on enrolment day and are assessed on a unit by unit basis. Once credit has been approved (prior to semester commencing) a course map will be completed for you. Students who have completed a three year Bachelor of Biomedical Science or similar should be able to complete the Bachelor of Pharmacy in three years. However, most transfer applicants will take four years to complete the course, due to the amount of credit received and unit sequencing. |
