Virtual Practice Environment
The Virtual Practice Environment allows students to immerse themselves in a range of real-life settings. The settings reflect a range of practice environments relevant to pharmacy and pharmaceutical science. Students interact with patients and health professionals through video conferencing, online software and animated computer graphics (avatars).
Audience Response System
Students answer multiple choice questions and provide feedback in lectures using a small keypad. This technology increases interaction in lectures and aids learning.
Virtual Patient
The Virtual Patient is an eLearning system where verbal commands from a student to a virtual patient result in a response from an avatar. By using a virtual patient case, students see the effects of their decisions on the patient, both visually and aurally.
