Parkville campus
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is located at Monash University's Parkville campus at 381 Royal Parade, Parkville. The campus has world- class teaching facilities and research laboratories arising from a $50 million redevelopment over the past two years.
The faculty is part of Melbourne's "Parkville strip", a collection of prestigious biomedical research centres that includes the University of Melbourne, the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, the Howard Florey Institute, CSL Limited, the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and CSIRO's Division of Health Sciences.
The Parkville campus, home to approximately 1800 students, is surrounded by parkland and is close to the vibrant and multicultural precincts of Sydney Road and Lygon Street. Parkville is an inner-city suburb of Melbourne and is a 10 minute tram ride (three kilometres) from Melbourne's city centre.
