Pharmacy education technology showcaseThe use of innovative technology to support competency-based teaching and learning in pharmacyNew to the program in 2009, this technology showcase initiative will allow registrants interactive access to novel developments that are being used to creatively respond to educational needs. This showcase will challenge attendees to think outside the square! The showcase will be a collaborative sharing and display of innovations, designed to inspire new thought in the use of technologies (eg online worlds, virtual patients, patient databases, audience response systems) to meet learning outcomes. Highlights include:Monday 6 July Tuesday 7 July Technological innovations will also be integrated into the general Symposium program where possible. If you are attending the Symposium and are actively involved in pharmacy education, we invite you to include your own technology innovation in the showcase. Please contact Marian Costelloe to discuss the specifics of your technology’s role and set up. A table and poster board will be available for each display – please bring your own laptop and other necessary requirements. Contact
