Course length

Three years full-time. An optional honours year is available to high achieving students. Students would have approximately 24 contact hours per week. This is a combination of labs, practical classes, tutorials and lectures. Students would also be expected to complete around 20 hours per week of private study.

Prerequisites

VCE

Units 3 and 4 - a minimum study score of at least 35 in English (ESL) or 30 in any other English, and at least 30 in each of chemistry and mathematical methods (either).

International Baccalaureate

Standard level: minimum mark of 5 in English, chemistry and mathematics standard level.
Higher level: minimum mark of 4 in English, chemistry and mathematics higher level.

English language requirements

Students applying for Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences undergraduate courses must meet the Monash University minimum English Language requirements

Selection

Students will be admitted to the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science based on results in prerequisite studies and ENTER.
