Course map and unit informationThe Master of Pharmacy Practice consists of 48 credit points. This program can be completed over two to four years part time. There is one 6 credit point core unit and 42 credit points of elective units.
Core unit
Elective unitsElective units are delivered by off campus learning (OCL) mode. For information about unit content refer to Postgraduate Handbook entries by clicking on the unit names below, or contact the unit leader as listed in the handbook. Please note that places in some units may be limited, so early enrolment is advisable. Occasionally a unit may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments. In the case of cancellation students will be contacted as soon as possible to select an alternate unit.
Note: Patient data and pharmacotherapy units VCG5021, VCG5022 and VCG6022 are only available with the approval of Course Director Master of Clinical Pharmacy. Students must be employed in a hospital clinical setting and have completed the prerequisite requirements. Economics & Management units are restricted to 12 credit points enrolment within the Master of Pharmacy Practice and the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice. The management units: Pharmacy Practice and Planning and The Australian Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Environment are offered by complementary enrolment with Chifley Business School.
