Entry requirements
Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Internship) (3460)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in pharmacy from Australia or New Zealand; or
- Successful completion of APC (Australian Pharmacy Council) requirements if the applicant is an overseas practitioner from a country other than New Zealand.
- English language requirements.
Note:
- Students who fail to gain Intern Pharmacist Registration, or who have their registration rescinded during the program, will be unable to continue in the program.
- Further details on provisional registration are available on the Pharmacy Board of Australia website.
- International students residing outside Australia are not eligible to enrol in this course. International students located in Australia will need to seek advice as to which visa is appropriate for part time study and full time work. Please contact the Faculty for further information.
Locating an internship training position
Applicants are required to locate a pharmacy or hospital pharmacy department for practical training. The following links and notice boards advertise training positions:

Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Registered Pharmacists) (3468)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in pharmacy.
- Registered as a pharmacist by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- English language requirements.
Note:
- International students located in Australia wishing to study this course must be registered as a pharmacist in Australia and have the appropriate visa to allow part-time study. All other international students are only able to study this course in their country of residence. In such case, applicants must be registered as a pharmacist in their country of residence.

Master of Clinical Pharmacy (3454)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in pharmacy.
- Registered as a pharmacist by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Working in a clinical setting in an Australian Hospital.
- English language requirements.
Note:
- Applicants with a 4-year undergraduate degree will be eligible to apply at the end of their pre-registration year. Applicants should be practising in a clinical setting.
- Applicants with a 3-year undergraduate degree will be eligible to apply following their pre-registration year and a further period of clinical experience. Applicants should be practising in a clinical setting.
- In the event of a surplus of applicants, selection may be via an interview process.
- International students residing outside Australia are not eligible to enrol in this course. International students located in Australia must be registered as a pharmacist in Australia, be employed in an Australian hospital clinical setting, and have the appropriate visa to allow part-time study.

Master of Pharmacy Practice (3467)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

A bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in pharmacy.
- Registered as a pharmacist by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

Note:
- International students located in Australia wishing to study this course must be registered as a pharmacist in Australia and have the appropriate visa to allow part-time study. All other international students are only able to study this course in their country of residence. In such case, applicants must be registered as a pharmacist in their country of residence.

Wound Care (2982/2984/2985)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in pharmacy, podiatry, medicine, nursing or related discipline.
- At least two years relevant clinical experience.
- English language requirements.
Note:
- Division 1 Registered Nurses who do not have a degree but can demonstrate extensive relevant clinical experience will be considered for admission.
- International students, applying to the Graduate Certificate in Wound Care are only able to study this course in their country of residence.
- International students, applying to the Graduate Diploma in Wound Care or the Master of Wound Care are only able to study this course in their country of residence. However, they must also be able to meet visa requirements to attend a compulsory week-long residential study block in Melbourne.

Single unit enrolments
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in pharmacy, podiatry, medicine, nursing or related health discipline.
- Professional registration.
- English language requirements.
- Where specified in unit outlines, you must provide evidence of meeting unit prerequisites.
- Applicants wanted to enrol in PGC5002, PGC6003 and PGC6004 should be registered as a pharmacist by the Pharmacy Board of Australia and working in a clinical setting in an Australian Hospital.
