Heart failure and psychiatry

Presenters: Anne Leversha, Director of Pharmacy at Latrobe Regional Hospital and lecturer in Pharmacy Practice, Victorian College of Pharmacy, Lyn Billington, Deputy Director of Pharmacy at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

By successfully completing the assessment component of this workshop, you can earn 4 CPD points.

The current treatment of heart failure will be examined in this workshop. Understanding this topic is particularly relevant to community pharmacists, as treatment involves use of multiple medications.
During the psychiatry part of the workshop, discussion will be focused on clinically significant medication interactions in psychiatry, and adjunctive strategies for the care of the psychiatric patient.

The workshop cost is $33 (including substantial refreshments) for PSA members or Victorian College of Pharmacy alumni. For all other participants, the workshop cost is $55. All prices quoted include GST.
